We're working on these items which cumulatively should give a 'best case' scenario. Interestingly, some of our testing has shown some really weird choices on Asobo's part, such as running the entire behaviour code every visual frame. We've been digging into every corner of this engine, and good lord does it get weirder and weirder. I'm not going to detail everything we found here, but I'll sum it up like this: whatever you think shouldn't have a performance impact, it does, and most often it's almost entirely out of control.
