Liebe Kumi Gemeinde,
nach langer Zeit durfte ich meinen A330-200 in den königlichend Farben mal wieder als pünktlichster auf den Asfallt klatschen.
Darum liegt es natürlich vor der Hand,
diese Farben auch beim naechsten KuMi stolz zu vertreten.

Groningen Airport Eelde is a civilian airport near Eelde, The Netherlands just south of Groningen. There are several scheduled passenger services to Groningen, but the airport is mostly used for charter flights to holiday destinations in Greece, Portugal, Spain and Turkey. In 2005, the airport handled 163 000 passengers. The airport is also the homebase of the KLM Flight Academy and the Dutch Flight Academy (DFA).
The airport was officially opened on May 23, 1931 by mayor Jan Gerard Legro. Legro announced at the opening that it would grow into 'an airport for the entire North region'. During the opening there was an air show which was attended by 40,000 spectators.
On August 15 1931 a scheduled flight between Eelde and Schiphol was launched, but it did not prove successful. In 1933 the airport's name was changed into 'NV Luchthaven Eelde'.
