After months of radio silence to customers and suppliers alike, FSElite can exclusively reveal that The FlightSim Store has entered liquidation.
The liquidation process is one in which all of a company’s remaining assets are sold off in order to pay any existing debts, wages or outstanding bills, with the end goal being to completely shut down and de-register the business. This being the case, it’s expected that as part of this process all outstanding money owed to developers who have made public statements regarding their business relationship with The FlightSim Store over the past months should be repaid.
Visitors to The FlightSim Store are now greeted by a slightly updated store, featuring only physical products available for purchase. All downloadable products have been removed and are no longer available for purchase or download, with the latter extending to existing customers also. Those that are available though, are being sold off at around 50% off the RRP, with expensive hardware items such as the VRinsight Flight Master Yoke marked down to $349.95 from the original $699.95.
