When The Aviation Herald was founded eight years ago as a privately funded service free to our readers, nobody could imagine the dimension The Aviation Herald has reached.
It is in the nature of a site reporting on accidents and incidents that it does not attract much advertisement, in addition we were always very selective to ensure our independence. Yet, advertising inquiries are welcome any time.
We do thank all our readers who already have actively supported the Aviation Herald by donating or by purchasing our iOS App, you have set a prime example indeed and you belong to a tiny fraction of our regular readers.
In order to maintain our operation, we need to raise more funds to be able to cover the cost for servers, staff, communication and information research.
If each regular reader contributed the sum of 12 Euros, based on our current readership figures, the operation of the Aviation Herald would be funded for years to come. Larger contributions are welcome of course, too, and help to expand our service.
