Rumway 18 has a GPS approach that was featured in IFR magazine because once you eeach MDA there is a hill which you would impact if you blindly follow the glide path from the visual decent point to the runway touchdown zone. This path is often shown as advisory on many WAAS GPS systems and on some aircraft can even be coupled. The path is only assured to be free when the gray cone is shown to the touchdown zone on the approach plate.
Ich hoffe das beste für die Crew...aber leider siehts ja nicht so gut aus :(.
